Quetta – 01 May 2025: Hindu community protests India blame for the Pahalgam attack during a rally in Quetta, rejecting New Delhi’s accusations.
Led by Sanjay Kumar, a PPP minority member of the Balochistan Assembly, the rally included men and women chanting slogans against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The protesters marched through Quetta’s streets and gathered outside the Press Club.
Participants held placards with anti-Modi and anti-India slogans, clearly rejecting India’s claims that Pakistan was linked to the Pahalgam incident in held Kashmir. The peaceful protest reflected a unified message of support for Pakistan’s security forces.
Sanjay Kumar addressed the rally, stating, “The Hindu community in Pakistan stands united with our armed forces. If India dares commit aggression, over 10 million Hindus will back our military.”
Other speakers, including women, strongly condemned India’s aggressive statements and called for peace. They also criticised India’s reported threat to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it an illegal and hostile act.
“India cannot unilaterally suspend a treaty signed in 1960 without agreement from other stakeholders,” they said, warning that such actions could escalate tensions.
Protesters said that India’s baseless allegations are part of a broader disinformation strategy and political agenda. Hindu community protests against Indian allegations and stressed that Pakistan has always condemned terrorism in all forms and stands committed to regional peace.
They urged the international community to take note of India’s inflammatory tactics and violations of international law. The peaceful protest concluded after the speeches, with a call for diplomatic solutions instead of baseless accusations.
